Avenue5 Residential in San Rafael, CA seeks an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. You will lead the maintenance team, address repairs across multiple systems, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, strong customer service, and the ability to manage work orders and emergencies. On-site work with a focus on resident satisfaction and property upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds.
• Carpentry duties: wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, tile repair.
• Proactive preventative maintenance: siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, etc.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety, cleanliness, and issues.
• Assist with property emergencies and on-call rotations.
• Communicate issues to maintenance supervisor and property manager promptly.
