Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations at our property. You will ensure physical upkeep, safety, and compliance with company policies and local regulations, while supporting the maintenance team and residents.

Responsibilities include repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, on-call support, and fostering a positive, professional on-site environment. A strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in property management or related field preferred.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance across electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and grounds.
• Carry out carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair and cabinet replacement.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Conduct daily inspections of property grounds, buildings, and amenities for safety and cleanliness.
• Mentor maintenance team and promote safety and professionalism.
