Wolfoods is seeking an experienced, high-energy Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, staff management, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

This on-site, live-in seasonal contract runs May through September, with full-time exempt hours (minimum 6 days / 70 hours per week). Perks include competitive pay, bonus, free room and board, and travel allowance.

Qualificações

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required prior to start date and company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, scratch baking, able to navigate iPad, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Operations & Leadership: Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Strictly manage food allergy protocols and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Serve as a liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
