Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, coach staff, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. You will work with the Kitchen Manager on hiring, training, and performance management, while maintaining efficiency and cost controls in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in a kitchen setting, knowledge of health and safety regulations, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a fast-paced kitchen or food production setting.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen.
• Experience training and developing kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and communicate job expectations to kitchen staff with the Kitchen Manager.
• Observe performance and coach as needed.
• Assist with recruitment, promotions and staff development.
• Help implement action plans to improve operations and costs.
• Collaborate to streamline kitchen operations and ensure food quality.
