Pura Vida Miami is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to help supervise kitchen staff, maintain quality standards, and support cost control in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with the Kitchen Manager to implement policies, train staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while delivering an excellent guest experience. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on kitchen skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a food production facility, fast paced restaurant or dining service.
• Local/municipal Food Handler certification (at applicant’s expense).
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Experience in training and developing kitchen staff.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to kitchen staff.
• Observe performance and provide coaching as appropriate.
• Assist Kitchen Manager with recruitment, selection and development of personnel.
• Collaborate to streamline operations and manage food costs.
• Provide product feedback to the Kitchen Manager and make recommendations.
