Base pay range

$57,000.00/yr - $62,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation: Responsibility for plating, cooking, and the presentation of food using established recipes and guidelines.
2. Inventory: Conducts weekly inventory and works with the head chef in ordering.
3. System Management: Handles data entry and management systems including ordering, inventory, scheduling, and using computer systems to execute tasks and manage food and labor costs.
4. Team Performance: Assists with hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, providing performance management, and team member discipline.
5. Kitchen Maintenance: Ensures proper maintenance, operations, and usage of kitchen equipment. Maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, walk-in, and freezer areas.
6. Safety: Enforces health and safety standards.

Qualifications

1. Must obtain Title 4 Certification and Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire.
2. Must be 18 years of age or older.
3. Must have reliable transportation.
4. Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
6. Minimum 1 year experience as a sous chef.
7. Strong organization, planning, communication, and time management skills.
