Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to help create an exceptional shopping experience for guests. You will work closely with the Store Manager and Leadership Team on sales, merchandising, and daily store operations.

This role includes training Teammates, recruiting new team members, and stepping in as Store Manager in their absence. The position progresses from AIT to Assistant Manager with added responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills are essential.
• Experience in coaching and developing Teammates is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sales generation and guest service to meet store goals.
• Lead and develop Teammates; recruit and train new team members.
• Oversee merchandising, displays and store operations to maintain Buckle standards.
• Provide leadership in the absence of the Store Manager.
