Viceroy Hotels is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager at Hyatt Centric Santa Monica to support daily housekeeping operations and uphold Hyatt brand standards for cleanliness, safety, and service excellence. This role supervises staff, conducts inspections, coordinates with Front Office for efficient turnover, manages scheduling, and ensures proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies.

You will train new hires, provide coaching, address guest concerns promptly, and foster a positive team

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality degree preferred).
• 2–4 years of housekeeping experience; strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in property management systems (Opera preferred).

Mansioni

• Assist in daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms, suites, public areas, and laundry.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure cleanliness and brand standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safe practices.
• Coordinate room turnover with Front Office for efficiency.
• Assist in staff scheduling to match occupancy forecasts.
• Oversee use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Supervise attendants, housekeeping staff, and laundry staff.
• Train new hires on Hyatt service standards and cleaning protocols.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team.
• Foster Hyatt culture and values; aid in onboarding and retention.
• Perform routine room inspections and public area audits.
• Address guest complaints promptly and follow up.
• Ensure VIP rooms and special requests are handled accurately.
• Monitor inventory levels of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts.
• Ensure proper lost & found procedures.
• Ensure OSHA/local health regulations and Hyatt safety policies compliance.
• Enforce chemical handling and workplace safety procedures.
