Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a Judgement Free member experience while contributing to the club's financial success.

You will help recruit, train and develop a high performing staff, supervise front desk activities, coordinate tours for prospective members, manage sign-ups, and support the Club Manager. CPR certification and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Experience as Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness preferred.
• Strong supervisory, diplomacy and listening abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• CPR certification is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff.
• Maintain welcoming atmosphere and ensure excellent service.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and oversee staff scheduling.
• Oversee front desk activities: check-ins, sign-ups and tours.
• Resolve or escalate employee issues as needed.
• Assist with cleanliness, supplies, and tracking of statistics.
