Job summary

Planet Fitness Louisville is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a top-tier, judgment-free member experience while driving club profitability.

The role targets candidates with retail management and customer service strengths. You will lead a team, ensure a welcoming environment, and support the Club Manager with daily operations, training, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills, preferably in fitness.
• Experience as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness is preferred.
• Strong supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• CPR certification required (can be done on hire).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring and developing a high-performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager as needed.
• Schedule and supervise staff.
• Oversee member service to ensure a superior experience.
• Resolve employee concerns and escalations as needed.
• Support front desk activities and member sign-ups.
