Job summary

Planet Fitness Fargo is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and ensure an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience while supporting the club's financial success.

You will assist in recruiting, training and supervising staff, coordinating front desk duties, tours for prospective members, and maintaining cleanliness and safety across the facility. A friendly, energetic leader with strong customer service is encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in a fitness setting is preferred.
• Experience as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness is a plus.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills; ability to resolve issues calmly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff including Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure superior customer service.
• Support staff management and back up the Club Manager as needed.
• Schedule and supervise staff; oversee front desk activities and member check-ins.
• Facilitate member requests, issues and tours; ensure cleanliness and facility maintenance.
• Assist with supplies and budget tracking; compile weekly/monthly/annual reports.
