Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and ensure a top-notch, Judgment Free member experience while supporting financial success of the club.

You will assist in recruiting, training and developing a high-performing staff, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and backing up the Club Manager as needed. This role emphasizes customer service, staff supervision, and efficient front desk operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills required.
• Ability to supervise, diplomatically lead and listen to staff.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic attitude.
• Strong problem resolution skills required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsabilités

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff including Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests and ensure staff follow superior customer service guidelines.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager; assist with scheduling and supervising staff.
• Oversee member service to ensure a superior customer experience at all times.
• Resolve or escalate employee issues or concerns as needed.
• Handle front desk activities: answer phones, check members in, sign up new members, and give tours.
• Oversee facility cleanliness and maintenance; assist in ordering supplies within budget.
• Track statistics and reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Provide backup support where needed.
