Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a Judgement Free experience. This full-time role involves supporting the Club Manager, driving sales, and leading a team of Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.

You will recruit, train, and supervise staff, maintain cleanliness, and ensure top-tier member service while meeting performance targets. This position requires flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Confident problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests and ensuring staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
• Assist with Staff Management and provide backup support to Club Manager as needed.
• Assist in scheduling and supervising staff.
• Member service oversight - Ensuring staff is providing a superior customer experience at all times.
• Assist in resolving or escalating employee issues or concerns.
• Involved in all front desk related activities including: answering phones, checking members in, new member sign-ups, and tours.
