Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help guide one of the store's busiest teams while ensuring excellent customer service and healthy product choices. You will support the Grocery Manager with staffing, scheduling, inventory, and daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age and 1-3 years retail management experience
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with customer interaction skills
• Proven leadership ability to build and maintain staff
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
• Lead a team to deliver quality products, high service levels, and customer experience
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Grocery Team
• Unload and sort store deliveries
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
