Job summary

JoinMaple Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced General Manager for Maple & Ash NY in New York, NY 10104. The role focuses on delivering exceptional dining experiences, leading a high-performing team, and maintaining top-tier service.

You will oversee daily operations, manage floor managers, ensure food quality and safety, and collaborate with the GM to achieve company goals. A background in upscale restaurants and a track record of VIP guest relations are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3 years of managerial experience in a high-volume upscale restaurant/hospitality setting.
• Warm, hospitable personality with guest-focused approach; ability to cultivate relationships with VIP clients and investors.
• Experience with P&L and COGS; able to coordinate with Finance to meet financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer or employee complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist the GM by taking on tasks, stepping up, and seeking opportunities to add value.
• Manage and develop Floor Managers and participate in weekly manager/executive meetings.
• Guarantee food quality and 100% customer satisfaction through audits and service standards.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment by enforcing health regulations and sanitation procedures.
• Adjust environment, music, lighting, and temperature to maintain the proper atmosphere.
• Stay informed onindustry trends and maintain networks for ongoing knowledge growth.
• Assist GM in overseeing procurement, inventory, price negotiations, and supplier reviews.
• Recruit and train exceptional staff, aligning with company culture and standards.
