Job summary

Maple Hospitality Group is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee operations in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment. You will lead floor managers, ensure 100% guest satisfaction, and drive financial performance.

You will partner with the GM on tasks, audits, staff development, and adherence to sanitation standards, while staying ahead of industry trends and maintaining the company culture.

Qualifications

• 5 years of managerial experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant/hospitality establishment.
• Experience with P&L and COGS and interaction with accounting personnel.
• Ability to analyze budgets, expenditures and drive financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer or employee complaints and maintain 100% customer satisfaction.
• Assist GM to achieve company goals and take on new tasks as needed.
• Manage and develop Floor Managers and participate in weekly meetings.
• Audit menu items to guarantee food quality and service standards.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance in the work environment.
• Oversee atmosphere, music, lighting and temperature to match brand experience.
• Monitor industry trends and build professional networks for growth.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, supplier contracts, and spend variances.
• Recruit and train staff who embody company culture and service standards.
• Review expenditures with accounting to ensure adherence to budget.
