Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Ithaca, NY to support the General Manager in overseeing operations, staff development, and resident satisfaction. This role requires a customer-centric mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to act as General Manager in their absence.

You will lead staffing efforts, manage property administration, coordinate facilities and capital projects, and drive customer experience and sales initiatives in a fast-paced student housing

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communicator.
• Customer-centric mindset.
• 1+ years’ experience working at living communities/property management.

Responsibilities

• Staff Development and Leadership: attract candidates, hire, improve retention.
• Manage onsite scheduling including after-hours on-call shifts.
• Property Administration: notices, evictions, accounts receivable, audits.
• Facilities & Capital: safe, sanitary community, inspections, vendor coordination.
• Annual Turnover Process: plan/execution, turnover readiness, move-out inspections.
• Customer Experience & Sales: manage sales interactions and marketing opportunities.
