Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in supervising all operations at a student housing property. This role partners with the Customer & Sales Experience Manager to drive resident satisfaction and leasing performance.

Ideal candidates will have a customer-centric mindset, strong communication, and a track record in property management. On-site work with some after-hours responsibilities is expected; Scion offers bonus potential and comprehensive

Qualifications

Exceptional written and verbal communicator
Confidentiality and discretion in handling resident information
1+ years’ experience working at living communities or property management
Proficient with property management systems (Entrata preferred)

Responsibilities

Assist with attracting candidates on and off campus and improving employee retention.
Train, coach, and develop team members; contribute to high morale.
Manage property scheduling and after-hours on-call shifts with the GM.
Oversee resident accounts, utility billing, and accounts receivable; audit records.
Coordinate with vendors to meet maintenance requests and keep customer satisfaction high.
Prepare monthly end reports; enforce policies and collections procedures.
