Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager to assist the General Manager in supervising all business functions of operations at a student housing property. The role collaborates with the Customer & Sales Experience Manager to drive initiatives and ensure a smooth operating environment.

Qualified candidates show a customer-centric mindset, strong communication, and the ability to act as GM in their absence. This is a learning-forward, fast-paced setting in collegiate housing.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Customer-centric mindset with a service-oriented approach.
• 1+ year(s) experience in living communities or property management.
• Proficiency with property management systems (Entrata preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop staff; assist with recruitment and retention.
• Support GM with training, coaching and leadership of the team.
• Coordinate with CXM on schedule adherence and after-hours on-call shifts.
• Elevate employee experience through data, conversations and team-building.
