Job summary

The Scion Group in Ithaca, New York is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in supervising all operations at the community.

You will lead staff development, manage resident accounts and turnover processes, coordinate safety and facilities tasks, and drive resident experience and sales initiatives while maintaining high morale and a compliant, safe living environment.

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communicator
• Customer-centric mindset
• 1+ years’ experience working at living communities/property management
• Proficient in Property Management Systems (Entrata preferred)

Responsibilities

• Staff Development and Leadership: assist with attracting candidates, hire new team members, coach and develop staff.
• Property Administration: manage resident accounts, notices, filings and evictions as needed.
• Facilities & Capital: ensure safe, sanitary community, conduct property walks and inspections, coordinate work orders.
• Annual Turnover Process: support turnover planning/execution, move-in/out inspections, damage assessment and billing.
