Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in supervising all operational functions of our student housing properties. You will partner with the Customer & Sales Experience Manager on initiatives and lead a team to deliver exceptional resident experiences.

We seek a proactive leader with a customer-centric mindset, strong attention to detail and the ability to step in as General Manager when needed.

Qualifications

Exceptional written and verbal communicator.
Strong detail orientation and confidentiality.
Customer-centric mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
1+ years' experience working at living communities/property management.
Proficient in Property Management Systems (Entrata preferred).

Responsibilities

Staff Development and Leadership: assist with attracting candidates, hiring, training, coaching and leadership of team members.
Coordinate with CXM to manage onsite schedule including after-hours on-call shifts.
Elevate employee experience through data, conversations and team building.
Property Administration: prepare, respond and advise on community aspects and emergencies; manage notices and evictions.
Manage resident accounts and utility billing; coordinate accounts receivable and audits.
Facilities & Capital: ensure safe, sanitary environment; conduct property walks and inspections.
Coordinate work orders with staff or vendors; maintain communications and satisfaction.
Annual Turnover Process: assist with turnover planning, staffing, and milestone progress tracking.
Financial Performance: assist with month-end reports and enforce policies; manage delinquency targets.
Customer Experience & Sales: communicate with residents, support CX initiatives, monitor KPIs, address escalated concerns.
