Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations across our Dunkin, Burger King, Auntie Anne’s, and Retail locations. You will learn essential management skills, practice judgment, and help lead shifts to meet performance targets.

You will supervise non-management staff, coach shift supervisors, and ensure smooth operation with strong focus on customer service, safety, and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management associates, assign work, coach, and develop shift supervisors.
• Be capable of performing duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff, especially during low morale periods.
• Maintain leadership and organizational effectiveness and ensure brand standards.
• Address issues promptly and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain brand standards and landlord/labor relations, and ensure the restaurant looks clean and inviting.
• Ensure cash management is accurate and reports are delivered as directed by the company.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to ensure positive customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate inventory data with spot counts and checks.
