Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This entry-level managerial role offers learning opportunities and discretion in decision making to drive performance.

Key responsibilities include delivering feedback, coaching shifts, supervising staff, and maintaining brand standards while ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient cash handling.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivers performance feedback, sets goals, fosters teamwork, and communicates business objectives.
• Ensures day-to-day supervision of non-management associates, assigns work, coaches, and develops shift supervisors.
• Must be able to perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivates and positively influences staff, especially during times of low morale.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Addresses issues in a timely fashion.
• Ensures company policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintains awareness of brand standards and procedures to maximize brand/landlord/labor relations.
• Ensures the restaurant looks clean, inviting and adheres to brand standards.
• Manages cash handling and daily reporting as directed.
• Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, building long-term relationships.
• Ensures inventory data is accurate through spot counts.
