Job summary

Taziki's Café is seeking an experienced restaurant manager to oversee daily operations in one of our Birmingham, AL locations. You will manage staff, ensure top-notch guest service, and uphold food safety standards while driving profitability.

Responsibilities include reviewing P&L, scheduling, menu knowledge, staff development, and maintaining a great work environment. This full-time role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and a passion for fresh, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• 1-3 years management experience.
• Profit & Loss knowledge preferred.
• Google Suite and computer literacy required.
• Strong work ethic and guest-focused.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Leads a team and sets goals.
• Ability to train and motivate employees.
• Must obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after starting.

Responsibilities

• Review store’s P&L and assist in scheduling to reach cost goals.
• Master menu and product knowledge.
• Serve guests and build connections.
• Take responsibility for restaurant and team.
• Set the tone for shifts and give clear directions.
• Mentor staff and manage quality, motivation, training and evaluations.
• Support or work stations including kitchen when needed.
• Assist GM with interviewing, onboarding and training.
