Job summary

Taziki’s Café is a fast-casual restaurant brand seeking a management-oriented professional in Birmingham. You will review the store’s P&L, assist in scheduling, and follow the GM’s direction to reach cost goals while mastering menu knowledge and guest connections.

Lead and develop staff, ensure food safety, train new employees, and maintain high standards of hygiene and appearance. This full-time role offers ownership prospects, a flexible schedule, and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 1–3 years management experience.
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy.
• Strong work ethic and passion for fresh food.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to train, retain, and motivate quality employees.

Responsibilities

• Review store’s P&L, assist in scheduling, and follow GM’s direction to reach cost goals.
• Master menu and product knowledge.
• Serve guests and build meaningful connections.
• Be responsible for the restaurant and the team.
• Set the shift tone and give clear directions to staff.
• Mentor staff and manage crew development, motivation, training and evaluations.
• Support or work stations when needed (kitchen included).
• Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Follow proper cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain Health Department Standards throughout each shift.
• Follow Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Proper food handling and storage of products.
• Maintain hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
• Understand and abide by company standards and policies.
