Job summary

Taziki's Café is seeking a capable restaurant manager to join our on-site team. You will lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure cost controls while maintaining high guest satisfaction across shifts.

Responsibilities include P&L oversight, hiring/training, cash handling, safety standards, and delivering a warm customer experience in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time on-site role with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Leadership, customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Strong time management and organization abilities required.
• 1-3 years of management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Profit and Loss statements is a plus.
• Must obtain a Food Manager's certification shortly after starting.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing store's P&L and assisting in scheduling to achieve cost goals.
• Mastering menu and product knowledge to lead service excellence.
• Serve guests and build meaningful connections with them.
• Be responsible for the restaurant and the team on shift.
• Set the tone for the shift and provide clear directions to staff.
• Supervise, mentor and evaluate staff development and performance.
• Support or work stations including kitchen as needed.
• Assist GM in interviewing, onboarding and training new employees.
• Follow cash handling and payment procedures and maintain health standards.
• Adhere to Alcohol Handling policies and proper food storage and hygiene.
