Taziki's Café in Gardendale, Alabama is seeking experienced restaurant managers for full-time positions.

You will oversee daily operations, manage schedules, mentor staff, and uphold health, safety, and quality standards while delivering friendly guest service.

Qualifications

• Must exhibit leadership and team-management abilities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to train, retain, and motivate quality employees.
• Proven time management and organizational capabilities.
• Food Manager's certification to be obtained shortly after starting.

Responsibilities

• Review store's P&L, assist in scheduling, and follow GM guidance to reach cost goals.
• Master menu and product knowledge; ensure guest satisfaction.
• Serve guests and build meaningful connections.
• Be responsible for the restaurant and the team.
• Set the shift tone and give clear directions to staff.
• Mentor staff and manage quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations.
• Support or work stations when needed (kitchen included).
• Assist GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Follow cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain Health Department Standards.
• Follow Alcohol Handling policies.
• Proper food handling and storage.
• Maintain hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
