Job summary

Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to lead hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager. You will guide the team, uphold service standards, and drive guest satisfaction while coordinating with departments and vendors.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, staff development, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on maintaining high-quality guest experiences and operational continuity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of hotel leadership experience.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work a changing schedule.
• Strong team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff development and attend staff huddles, guiding the team in absence of GM.
• Post checks in PMS, manage labor trackers and payment reports.
• Maintain guest readiness and address guest feedback to uphold service standards.
• Coordinate housekeeping and inspect rooms with GM.
• Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and guest relations.
• Lead sales and marketing efforts to promote occupancy.
• Assist with shifts to ensure operational continuity.
• Follow emergency procedures and ensure security for guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
