MML Hospitality is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead day-to-day restaurant operations with a hands-on, floor-focused leadership style. You will develop teams, balance hospitality with accountability, and partner with leadership to maintain exceptional guest experiences in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Strong operations knowledge: labor, inventory, cost controls.
• Proven ability to coach and develop hourly staff.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations on the floor.
• Provide hands-on support during busy services.
• Coach and mentor FOH team members and managers.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and training.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing level management.
• Monitor labor, costs, and key operating metrics.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures and cash-handling are accurate.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and health standards.
• Address guest concerns and uphold hospitality standards.
• Partner with culinary and bakery leadership to ensure smooth operations across departments.
• Help execute events and high-volume services.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and ensure they are followed.
