Job summary

DIMENSION MASTER in Austin, TX seeks a hands-on Assistant General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and lead front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences and strong financial results.

You will mentor leaders, manage scheduling, training, coaching, and performance, ensure cleanliness and safety, support budgeting and cost controls, and act as Manager on Duty when needed. Previous hotel leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with daily hotel operations and leadership tasks
• Oversee department leaders and help ensure smooth interdepartmental communication
• Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management
• Maintain guest satisfaction by resolving issues and supporting service recovery
• Monitor hotel cleanliness, safety, and brand compliance
• Assist with financial performance, budgeting, and cost controls
• Lead by example to maintain a positive, professional environment
• Support implementation of hotel initiatives, procedures, and standards
• Ensure staffing levels support service needs across the hotel
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed
