Job summary

Via 313 Pizzeria in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, develop future leaders, and drive business results. You will partner with the General Manager to build a strong team culture, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and grow sales in a high-volume environment.

The role requires 2-3 years of restaurant leadership, strong communication, coaching skills, and a hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of restaurant leadership experience.
• Full-service restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Hands-on leader who leads by example.
• Growth mindset with coaching and development focus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations and help execute the Via 313 brand experience every shift.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Support hiring, training, and retention efforts while helping build a high-performing team.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
• Ensure quality, cleanliness, food safety, and hospitality standards are consistently met.
• Monitor labor, inventory, scheduling, and other key business metrics.
• Serve as a leader on the floor, supporting both Front of House and Back of House operations.
• Partner with the General Manager to achieve restaurant goals and develop future leaders.
• Respond to guest feedback and help create raving fans of the Via 313 brand.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
