Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a General Manager in Austin, TX to lead a high-volume restaurant with a focus on hospitality, service standards, and financial performance.

You will coach the leadership team, manage hiring and scheduling, enforce safety and quality controls, and drive cost controls while maintaining a vibrant, guest-focused culture. This is a visible role with opportunities for advancement within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Experience managing high-volume restaurant operations, preferably >$10M in annual sales.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Experience adhering to food safety and PPE compliance requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent; corporate training program completed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily restaurant operations in line with brand standards for service, quality, and financial performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop the management team.
• Manage hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations for all staff; drive cost controls and profit plans with accurate inventory.
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene compliance, including PPE usage in a high-energy environment.
• Resolve guest concerns diplomatically and maintain a welcoming guest experience.
• Prepare operational reports for leadership.
