Job summary

KidStrong Sugarland is seeking an Assistant General Manager to drive center growth, lead coaches, and deliver exceptional experiences for kids and families. This role blends sales leadership with hands-on coaching, center operations, and team development in a dynamic, high-energy environment.

You will manage daily operations, track KPIs, mentor staff, and ensure safety and brand standards while delivering KidStrong programming for ages 15 months to 11 years.

Qualifications

• Child development and athletic background with coaching/sports experience for ages 15 months to 11 yrs
• Driven sales mindset with outbound calling, closing sales, and meeting goals
• Natural leader who energy and growth mindset
• Physically active, comfortable in an active environment and able to move equipment up to 25 lbs
• Tech-savvy with Google Workspace/Microsoft tools and learning Manage systems (LearnUpon, ADP, CareerPlug or CRM)
• CPR certified (or willing to obtain) and ready to complete KidStrong HQ Coach Certification

Responsibilities

• Lead member acquisition by outbound calls (75–100 calls/day) to new and interested leads
• Finalize trial sales and memberships over the phone and in-center
• Sell and schedule events (Spring/Summer camps, birthday parties, community pop-ups)
• Serve as Manager on Duty when GM is off
• Onboard, train, evaluate, and mentor coaches using the KidStrong Coach DNA framework
• Foster a feedback-rich coaching culture and model standards across Slack, email, and center ops
• Manage the Lead Coach/Sales Manager
• Track center KPIs, sales, and member retention to guide decisions
• Deliver top-tier customer service and maintain community relationships
• Oversee daily/weekly/monthly center maintenance, equipment safety, and brand standards
• Deliver hands-on coaching (5–10 hrs/week) focusing on Brain, Physical, and Character development for ages 15 months to 11 years
• Use KS Coaches App to track attendance, awards, and student progress
