Job summary

KidStrong North Austin seeks an Assistant General Manager to be the second-in-command to the General Manager, driving growth, inspiring coaches, and delivering exceptional experiences for kids and families.

You will lead sales initiatives, oversee coaching culture, manage center operations, and contribute 5–10 hours/week of hands-on coaching within a vibrant, family-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Child development and athletic background with coaching/sports experience preferred.
• Driven sales mindset with comfort in high-volume outreach and hitting targets.
• Natural leader who motivates others and embraces a growth, low-ego culture.
• Physically active role requiring engagement with kids and setup of equipment.
• Tech-savvy with Google Workspace/MS Office and learning platforms like LearnUpon/ADP.

Responsibilities

• Lead member acquisition through outbound calls (75–100/day) and finalize trial sales.
• In-center memberships selling and scheduling revenue-driving events.
• Oversee coaching staff development and on-duty management when GM is off.
• Track KPIs, member retention, and center operations; deliver excellent customer service.
• Hands-on coaching (5–10 hours/week) delivering KidStrong curriculum to ages 15 months–11 years.
