Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Monroeville, AL seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead and coach crew, carhops and skating carhops while supporting the General Manager. You’ll train teams, assign duties, schedule staffing, monitor inventory and handle payroll records.

The role requires strong leadership, customer focus and the ability to resolve guest requests efficiently. You will also help hire staff, develop action plans for sales trends, implement marketing initiatives and ensure compliance with labor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced studies in business or restaurant management preferred.
• Experience managing restaurant staff and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches crew, carhops and skaters.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet service standards.
• Prepares employee work schedules and adjusts staffing as needed.
• Monitors inventory and places orders within cost controls.
• Maintains employment and payroll records.
• Resolves guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Interviews and hires restaurant crew and management.
• Develops action plans for financial or sales concerns.
