Job summary

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea, a strong and growing coffeehouse brand in Columbus, OH, seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager and owners in overseeing operations, guest service, and sales goals. This is an entry-level leadership role with growth potential in specialty coffee and tea.

You will lead a busy team, ensure product quality, and help drive brand standards while pursuing personal career development in a vibrant Columbus market.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and guest service skills required.
• Able to multi-task in a busy, fast-paced environment.

• Flexible availability with a minimum of 30 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Build sales through excellent product execution, guest service, and team management.
• Assists in managing and training the team to attain sales goals.
• Assists in the managing daily operations, guest service, training, product quality, merchandising, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Maintain Sweetwaters brand standards.
• Supports GM in reviewing, preparing, and submitting orders, inventory, scheduling, and payroll.
• Supports GM in marketing events.
