CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Tampa to lead restaurant operations and develop a high-performing team. You will partner with the GM and Area Leader to implement action plans, forecast labor, manage inventory, and boost guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory or management experience in restaurant/hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage financial aspects including budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Willing to work nights/weekends and travel as needed.
• Promotes inclusivity and respectful teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations including opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing, and address Team Member issues.
• Lead customer service and promote guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Support financial tracking, cash handling, and budget adherence.
• Assist with financial reporting and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure food safety practices and team training on procedures.
• Handle administrative tasks like inventory and records.
