Job summary

CAVA in Bradenton, FL is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and align with our mission and values. You will assist the General Manager with schedules, forecasting, labor, and inventory while coaching Team Members to deliver high-quality food and service.

You will monitor performance, drive guest satisfaction, and support financial reporting and compliance. This role requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and a proactive, customer-focused

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment and develop solutions.
• Knowledge of budgeting and cost control; familiarity with safety regs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and coach Team Members with training and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing; address Team Member issues.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding service standards and addressing concerns.
• Lead by example in customer service and motivate the team.
• Assist with financial tracking, reporting, and adherence to budget guidelines.
• Ensure proper cash handling and financial record-keeping.
• Oversee food safety practices and team training on procedures.
• Support with administrative tasks and project initiatives.
