Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or High School equivalency required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Prefer 2 years of hands-on restaurant management experience.
• ServSafe Certified preferred or able to obtain certification prior to completion of training.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise and direct all hourly employees including daily activities, work assignments, time off requests.
• Conduct periodic performance evaluations and provide coaching or discipline as needed.
• Observe kitchen operations and address issues promptly.
• Direct work: scheduling, hours, and task assignments before during and after open hours.
• Drive sales and guest satisfaction; manage food costs, inventory, utilities, and Health Department ratings.
• Ensure food quality with high cleanliness, organization, and sanitation.
• Ensure CHARM Service Model is executed by every team member with every guest.
• Provide training to Front of House and Back of House staff on Ruby Tuesday policies.
• Supervise production and preparation of food and beverages per recipes.
• Resolve guest recovery situations.
• Follow Operations Playbook; act when staff do not comply.
• Use the digital manager logbook for shift notes and requests.
• Enforce security measures to protect employees and guests.
• Help control costs of food, supplies, and liquor; conduct weekly inventory and adjust as needed.
• Practice safe food handling and enforce procedures.
• Adhere to all wage/hour regulations and restaurant filing responsibilities.
• Ensure equipment is in good repair and address issues to avoid injuries.
• Manage line checks, thawing, prep lists, inventory, beverage costs, truck orders, and food safety.
• Coach team to meet Ruby Tuesday recipe standards for portions and presentation.
• Maintain a valid food safety certificate and pursue new certificates as needed.
• Support new initiatives including product and menu rollouts; exercise initiative.
