Job summary

Ruby Tuesday is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, supervise kitchen and service teams, and drive sales while maintaining high food quality and customer satisfaction.

The AGM will train staff, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, policies, and procedures. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old and high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for higher-level responsibilities.
• At least 2 years of hands-on restaurant management experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred or obtainable before training completion.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise and direct all hourly employees and daily activities.
• Lead shifts as the management representative and conduct performance evaluations.
• Schedule hours, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to standards of conduct.
• Drive sales and guest satisfaction while controlling food costs and inventory.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
