Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in delivering exceptional restaurant performance. You will lead daily operations, supervise Team Members, and ensure compliance with food safety and service standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inventory, budgeting, coaching, and maintaining a positive guest experience while upholding CAVA’s values and financial targets. This role requires flexibility and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant/hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage budgets and understand cost controls.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations including opening/closing.
• Ensure adherence to food quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing to meet business needs.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience and address customer concerns promptly.
• Support with financial tracking, sales reporting, and budget compliance.
• Maintain proper cash handling procedures and financial records.
• Participate in special projects to drive restaurant success.
