ApplegreenUSA operates over 80 travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest, providing convenience, comfort, and diverse food options. The Assistant General Manager helps the General Manager ensure smooth daily operations and offers an opportunity to learn essential management skills.

You will support supervision of staff, drive performance, and uphold brand standards while maintaining excellent customer service and operating efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management associates and coach shifts supervisors to optimize store operations.
• Must be able to competently perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale during busy or challenging times.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
• Maintain a clean, inviting restaurant environment and adhere to brand standards.
• Manage cash handling and daily reporting per directives.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to build long-term relationships.
• Perform spot inventory counts to ensure inventory data accuracy.
