Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations at our travel plazas. You will lead a team, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain high store standards, safety and morale across shifts.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coaching, and flexible scheduling to meet business needs, while upholding brand guidelines and efficient cash handling and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quick-service restaurant or similar management experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to coach a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Smart with business sense and problem-solving.
• Flexible and able to work varying shifts.
• Basic food safety knowledge and practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, and communicate objectives clearly.
• Oversee daily operations with non-management staff and supervise shifts.
• Step in for the general manager when needed.
