The Assistant General Manager helps the GM ensure daily operations run smoothly and learns essential management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and motivating a team in a fast-service environment.
• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication and business acumen.
• At least 2 years in quick service restaurant management.
• Ability to lift/push objects up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible and open work schedule.
• Basic food safety understanding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management associates and coach shift supervisors.
• Step in when the general manager is absent.
• Motivate staff, especially during times of low morale.
• Maintain brand standards and store operations.
• Ensure cash management is accurate and reports are delivered.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues, ensuring positive relationships.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with spot counts.
• Ensure restaurant looks clean, inviting, and adheres to brand standards.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
