Applegreen is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations at travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest. You will learn essential management skills, practice judgment, and oversee store-level performance with a focus on guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and maintaining brand standards while managing staff across shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in quick service or fast casual environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.
• Flexible and willing to work varied shifts.
• Proven leadership and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork and communicate objectives.
• Supervise non-management staff, assign tasks, coach and develop shift supervisors.
• Step in for general manager when needed.
• Motivate staff and maintain brand standards and policies.
• Ensure cash management and inventory accuracy.
• Resolve customer issues and maintain long-term relationships.
