Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) in Phoenix to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, coaching the crew, and delivering the brand’s hospitality. You’ll lead shifts, ensure guest satisfaction, and help manage labor and costs with a hands-on leadership style.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in restaurant or retail management, a people-first approach, strong communication, and flexibility for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus!)
• A people-first leadership style with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• A love for fast-paced environments and great food
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Familiarity with managing food and labor costs preferred

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
