Job summary

Taziki's Café is seeking a dedicated restaurant manager to lead daily operations, oversee P&L, and develop a high-performing team. You will ensure superior guest service, maintain standards, and drive cost controls across shifts.

The role requires 1–3 years of management experience, a Food Service Manager certification, and a passion for fresh Mediterranean-inspired fare. This is a full-time on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-3 years management experience.
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy.
• Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to train, retain, and motivate quality employees.

Responsibilities

• Review store’s P&L, assist in scheduling, and follow GM’s direction to reach cost goals.
• Master menu and product knowledge.
• Serve guests and make meaningful connections with them.
• Be responsible for the restaurant and the team working.
• Set the tone for the shift and give clear, calm directions to staff.
• Supervise and mentor staff, and manage quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations.
• Support or work stations when needed (kitchen included).
• Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Follow proper cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain Health Department Standards throughout each shift.
• Follow proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Proper food handling and storage of food products.
• Maintain proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
