Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Illinois to help lead daily restaurant operations, uphold our Mediterranean-inspired standards, and drive customer satisfaction. You will partner with the General Manager and Area Leader to develop action plans, forecast labor needs, and coach hourly Team Members toward excellence.

The role requires 1–2 years in a supervisory or management capacity within hospitality, strong leadership, and a proven ability to deliver outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in hospitality, restaurant operations, or related fields.
• Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing in collaboration with the General Manager.
• Address Team Member issues and conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
