Job summary

CAVA in Kendall, FL is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in running daily restaurant operations and achieving financial targets. You will manage scheduling, training, and performance, while upholding food safety and guest service excellence.

This role emphasizes leadership, adaptability, and a hands-on approach to developing Team Members and delivering a positive guest experience across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to coach and develop Team Members.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and driving guest satisfaction.
• Ability to monitor financials including scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Oversee inventory, scheduling, labor management, and cost control to protect profitability.
• Lead training and performance feedback for Team Members and supervisors.
• Support with financial reporting, sales tracking, and budget adherence.
• Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness across the restaurant.
• Drive guest satisfaction through high service standards and problem resolution.
