Job summary

Golden Gate Bell, LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily Taco Bell operations across a fast-paced CA restaurant. You will lead shifts, coach team members, and ensure quality, safety, and customer experience while helping to meet financial goals.

The role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, 2+ years of leadership in a restaurant, and ServSafe certification. Flexible hours and a dynamic team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 2 years of restaurant experience with proven leadership on all shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Must pass the ServSafe Certification Course and Exam and maintain a current health card per local/state requirements.
• Reliable transportation, clear criminal background check, and acceptable MVR.
• Average 45-hour work week with flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Lead shifts and complete tasks with quality assurance.
• Team Leadership: Coach and motivate team members and shift managers to prioritize customer experience.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure health and safety standards per OSHA regulations.
• Training & Development: Assist in leadership development and provide feedback.
• Recruiting & Onboarding: Collaborate with GM on staffing and onboarding of new hires.
• Financial Performance: Support GM in achieving financial goals.
• Customer Experience: Provide 5-star service to customers.
• General Manager Support: Assist GM in managing operations.
